The Dating Doc

The Dating Doc is a Texas-based singles events company that runs speed dating, upscale speed dating, themed mixers and matchmaking events in San Antonio, Austin, Houston and the Rio Grande Valley (McAllen). I developed its website using Laravel and React.js to present the brand, promote upcoming events by city and age group, and make it easy for singles to find and join an event. The React frontend gives visitors a fast, app-like experience, while the Laravel backend powers the site’s data and content. The site explains how the events work (check-in, timed mini-dates, match sheets, and matches emailed within 72 hours) and is optimised for city-based search terms such as speed dating, singles events and matchmaking in Texas.
